Context
A leading global strategy & advisory consultancy was looking to strengthen its Private Equity advisory offering. The focus was on building depth in commercial due diligence and value creation, with senior capability that could operate confidently with fund partners and portfolio company leadership across the B2B professional services industry vertical.
Challenge
The firm needed a senior hire with strong buy-side and sell-side experience, able to lead complex CDD work and help scale delivery across professional services-related themes. Credibility with investors was critical, as was the ability to contribute to long-term practice growth.
Solution
Consulting Point introduced a Private Equity Practice Leader with a proven history of driving growth at PE- and VC-backed companies from a competitor management consultancy. Our candidate has experience accelerating growth and client service line diversification with offerings across commercial due diligence, strategy consulting, GTM advisory, pricing, sales training, and revenue technology and personally manages key PE relationships, including Blackstone, Warburg Pincus, GTCR, among others.
Outcome
The appointment strengthened the firm’s global Private Equity platform and supported faster execution of its growth plans. The hire helped deepen relationships with priority sponsors, deliver investor level insight on live transactions and increase capacity to lead and win larger CDD and Strategy engagements. It placed a commercially credible leader into a strategically important practice, aligned closely to the firm’s direction.
